Jamestown Soapworks

Colleen's girls requested that their week at the lake include a Happy Feet Party at Jamestown Soapworks. Soapworks sits on beautifully landscaped property, where all of the natural soaps and lotions are made on site. When you go for a Happy Feet Party, you sit on the deck, enjoy lunch and then soak your feet in a peppermint-y foot bath and sample other Soapworks products. All for the whopping price of $2 each. While it does seem like an incredible bargain, I have to mention that the lunch tastes like a $2 lunch.

At Oakland Beach Golf Course with the cousins.

Ben has spent just about every free moment of his time at the lake working on his golf game. Ben and his cousin entered a junior tournament and both played really well.

A Week's Worth of Blogging

We've been so busy since arriving a week and a half ago. I'm finally getting to the blog, so bear with me while I catch up a bit.
We've been visiting with family and friends and going to our favorite local places.

Catching up with the little cousins...
No, the boys did not plan their matching outfits.

I'm not naming names, but this just may have been a first for someone.

We spent a day with our favorite farmers. Ok, the Bookamers are the only farmers we know. We learned how to make cheese, beginning with milking the cow. We also found out that their Mike is named after our Mike (both girls). Who knew.

A Wonderful Weekend in Pittsburgh

We spent the weekend in Pittsburgh so that Bob could compete in the Pittsburgh Triathlon. It's such a beautiful city, I don't know why we don't go more often.

We went to Jen and Jeff's beautiful house for dinner the night before the event.
