Kate, Ben and I ran our first ever 5K this morning on the Ernst Trail in Meadville. The race began and ended at Ernst Conservation Seeds, but was otherwise on the beautiful shaded Ernst Trail.
And guess what?! Ben was the fastest of all of us. He was in a competitive age group and placed 4th. Kate and I each finished 2nd in our age groups! Definitely a good day for all of us. (No need to ask exactly how many racers there were. Sometimes it's nice to be a big fish in a small pond.)
