Conneaut Lake has been behind in the green movement. People still put anything and everything out for the garbage men...and it's all picked up! There is no such thing as curbside recycling. Finally, though, I'm seeing some small steps.
This year Walmart actually sells their own reusable bags. Last year I brought my own, which completely confused the checkers. They'd either put the plastic bags inside of my bags or try to put my bags into their plastic bags.
There is only one place to recycle in the area. The process is much simpler this year. In the past you had to separate everything - glass, plastic (by number even), newspaper, magazines...
Finally, only two bins! Paper and everything else.
