Oil City - Titusville Train

A ride on the OC&T (Oil City and Titusville) train is the perfect activity for a rainy day. The three hour ride took us through a lush, beautiful valley that was home to the first oil well. That first working oil well, in 1859, led to an oil boom in the area. It's hard to believe that the peaceful area was once an active, vibrant community.

The gang's all here!

An inside view of one of the train cars.

The kids on the open air car.

A view of the river that carried barges holding barrels of oil.

Sisters enjoying the ride.

Let's see...a three hour train ride with the three sisters and two daughters. That adds up to like 195 minutes of talking.

Where's all the updates on Jerry's golf game? He should be benefiting from years of experience and member bounces by now.
